We are In a Mission to Help the Helpless
Fondazzjoni U has been organizing fundraising marathons three times a year for many years with the aim of supporting Maltese and Gozitan missionaries in their work to help children and families living in poverty and misery in mission countries.
Our primary focus is children—children who, through no choice of their own, were born in poor countries or regions and who lack nutritious food, clean water, essential healthcare, and the education that could give them hope for a better future.
Today, recent statistics show that every ten seconds, a child dies in mission countries. While we cannot save them all, we follow the teaching of Mother Teresa, who said, “If you can’t save the whole world, at least save one person.”
Three times a year, namely January, April and September, Fondazzjoni U host the telethon Il-Missjoni Bzonnok, with continuous broadcasts on UTV and many other local television stations.
